New Shoes: Fioni 'Kipsie Chaumiere' peep toe pumps

I bought my first pumps after my full recovery from a foot injury. My doctor said it is ok now for me to wear heels in one condition... to have an alternate low-heeled shoe for my feet to rest. Agree!

So, here they are. I wore it yesterday for the first day of my Financial Management class and I was able to survive without foot ache or breaking any bone after countless walking up and down the stairs.

Its upper is made of patent leather with contrast white stitching for a preppy appeal and the cute little bows for the ultimate girly appeal. It has 4-inch heels with 1/4-inch platform. I bought them at payless.com for less than $10.

New Shoes: Fila volleyball shoes

I don't feel any guilt at all buying this Fila sneakers. I need this because I am going to use it for my volleyball training every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. My team will compete with other companies this March and I need a shoe that will keep up with the demands of my training. I don't know how many times I have told you how much of a bargain junkie I am. Anyway, I bought this for 60% off its original price at SM Mall of Asia--the biggest shopping mall in the Philippines.

Do you have a sport?

I have been playing volleyball since I was in elementary, around age 9 or 10. I tried out for the sport in the hopes of becoming a part of the team that would represent my school in the District Meet. I belong to a family of volleyball players. My aunts and uncles used to play, too, and they were really good at the sport. I guess they were the ones who inspired me to  play, or maybe, I inherited it to them. Either way, it is good that I have a sport.

I was actually quite excited buying this shoe because it is my first time. My mom and aunts would buy me sneakers from the US so I never really had the chance to buy one for myself, until now. I have a Skechers that I have been using since time immemorial and I believe it is time for it to rest.

New Shoes: Le donne gray platform pumps

This pump is actually my 3rd pair of shoes this year. Don't blame me for buying too many shoes last month because I almost lived inside the mall. This is my first pair from Le donne and it is on sale for roughly $10. Le donne is not a common boutique in the nearby mall because their stores are usually in Manila. The brand has been in the business since the 1980s and was endorsed by Korina Sanchez--a popular news anchor in the Philippines.

It has 4-inch heels and 1-inch hidden platform. The upper is made of patent leather with a stretch cloth covering the toe. I was actually looking for a black pump but I came across this and I think this will do to match my office uniform. I wore this last week and it is surprisingly comfortable.

Flats!

To date, I have two flats. The first one is Brash blue suede flats with flower appliques and the second one is this Parisian brown loafer that I frequently wear--in the office and doing errands--because they are super comfy.

In this particular photo, I wore it with skinny jeans, leopard print top and black cardigan. My friends and I went for a walk in Tagaytay City--a famous tourist destination when it gets hot elsewhere.

New Shoes: Charles and Keith studded sandals

A girl can't have too many shoes. And for the nth time, I bought a Charles & Keith studded sandals that I have been eyeing since the day I learned there's an outlet store near our house. I bought this for only Php399 or less than $10. My waiting surely paid off.

New Shoes: Brash suede flats with flower applique

This is my first flat shoe! Surprisingly, my feet did not hurt. It was just a random purchase that I made when I went to a walking marathon inside a mall wearing stilettos. I passed by Payless Shoe Source and saw this in all its majestic blue color.

I bought this for half the price. I love the tiny flowers!

New Shoes: Charles and Keith platform sandal

I bought this sandal last Sunday. It is the first time for me to wear it and it was surprisingly comfortable despite the sting ray effect 4 inch heel and 1 inch platform. Its upper is made of leather. This will be the same sandals I am going to wear on the 22nd for a cocktail party.

Love!

New Shoes: Lower East Side 'Holton' peep toe pump

I passed by Payless Shoe Store earlier this day, with no intention to buy a shoe, but I could not resist the temptation... I could not resist this Lower East Side peep toe pumps with woven detail on the sides. It was love at first sight and first fit. I especially love the wooden effect stacked heel of 4 inches that is being balanced by the 1-inch platform. I stashed about $30 for this pair. Love! Love! Love!

I am excited to wear this in the office!

I went to the mall to have lunch with relatives when I passed by Charles & Keith Outlet and saw this sandal on sale for only Php399 or roughly $10. It is made of suede and crisscross patent leather with 3-inch heel. This would go perfect with my new office uniform.

New Shoes: Nine West caged sandals

My very generous and loving sister gave this sandal to me. She knows my weakness. Obsession with shoes runs in the family.

New Shoes: Charles & Keith platform sandals with golden heels

I treated myself today with a pair of gorgeous Charles & Keith sandals. No guilty feelings here because I think I deserve to have another pair for working so hard this year. I actually got an award for being one of the top 10 department heads of the year.

And, this sandal is on sale. I bought it for only $16. It has 5" (I think) golden heels and platform. Its upper is made of brown crisscross leather with buckle on the sides. This is a size 41 (I am a size 40) yet it fits like a glove... which makes me think... are shoe sizes getting smaller or it is just my feet that's getting bigger?

New Shoes from Charles & Keith

I am such a sinner today.

About two weeks ago, Charles & Keith Outlet opened in the mall where I usually go shopping. I immediately went inside and checked out the goodies... I liked three... perhaps four pairs, but I did not try them on because I'd be tempted to buy them. I successfully got out of the store without a bag on my hand but at least my wallet was happy.

Earlier this day, I went back to the store together with my son. This time, I failed to resist temptation. What's worse... I bought two!

New Shoes: Satin D'orsay and Lace Pumps

I went shoe shopping earlier this day together with my sister. I was able to buy two because they are marked 50% off, making me spend only $20 for the two pairs.

Satin d'orsay peep toe pump with 3-inch heel.
This is the only size left. I'm so lucky. I fits perfectly on my feet. I tried walking in them and they are pretty comfortable. I will attend a formal party this month and this would be perfect.

This is my second d'orsay. I had one when I was in college, and that was like a gazillion years ago. This has folded satin design on the sides and V-shaped peep toes. This is size 10.

Metallic gold pointed toe pump with lace overlay with 3-inch heel.
This is the same upper as my lace platform pumps that I featured months ago. It fits like a glove that's why I bought it and I kinda miss wearing pointed toes.

My feet looked divine (?) when I tried it on. This is a size 10.5.

To date, I already have 7 new pairs, not including the ones that my aunt and mom bought for me. How many pairs of shoes do you own?

All my shoes... sort of

I have been showing you shoes but I haven't actually shown you my own (except for my new purchases). Well, here are my shoes, the ones that I usually wear, recently bought and the ones my mom gave me when she visited.

From L to R, top row: Caged sandals with braided straps, Christian Siriano caged sandals, lace platform pumps, platform sandals with snakeskin strap, gray peep toes pumps with silver heels, gray lace up pumps.
From L to R, middle row: Slides by Bandolino, Style & Co, and Naturalizer, peep toe pumps by Fioni.
From L to R, bottom row: Naturalizer slides, clogs by Sonoma and buckled slides by Rampage.

All slides and the clogs are from my mom. Judging from the shoes she gave me, you can say that she's not fond of pumps and sky high heels. I usually wear the gray lace up pumps, Fioni, lace pumps and the caged sandals with braided straps. I just bought the platform sandals with snakeskin straps and I guess it will be included in my frequently used shoes, I wore it yesterday and they are so comfy.

There are only 15 pairs in the photo but I still have some shoes hidden somewhere in my closet. Lining up these 15 pairs is so tiring. I will line up everything some other time.

New Shoes!

I would like you to meet my new shoes... sandals with platform front and snakeskin strap. Love them! I bought them the other day before I watched Transformers: Dark of the Moon. They are the comfiest shoes ever! They are a size 10. Yep, I am related to Big Foot. I am planning to buy its nude version.

What shoes are you wearing right now? I would love to see them. =)

New Shoes!

My mom came from the US for a vacation and she brought with her the shoes that she and my aunt ordered at Payless in my behalf. I have waited for these shoes for months and I am so excited to show them to you.

SHOE NUMBER 1
Christian Siriano gladiator sandals with zip front detail and buckled straps from the "exotic" collection. First fit was a bit uncomfortable but thank goodness the buckled straps are adjustable. Aunt should have bought me a medium fit. Unfortunately, it is no longer available.

My mom wonders how could I walk in its 3-inch heel.

Front view showing the zip front. Fierce!

SHOE NUMBER 2
Just a basic peep toe pump with embossed snake skin upper from Fioni. This is only $19.99. I wanted the nude  version but they ran out of size 9 1/2", nevertheless, I like this black not less than I like the other color. Super comfy!

Oops! The price tag is still showing. The front view of the no fuzz pumps. I tried this with jeans and cropped pants and it looks great on them.

The 3-inch stiletto heel.

New Shoes for Mother's Day!

I had a pre-Mother's Day date with my son today. Of course the day will not be complete without a little shoe shopping. I bought this brown pumps with white contrast stitching and 3-inch heels at Rusty Lopez. I was lucky, again, to buy this for half the price since it's the only size left.

My mom will visit anytime this month. I haven't seen her for years and I am so excited when she confirmed she will visit. Aside from getting excited to see her, I am also excited because she bought me shoes. She knows my weakness. I love her!

Happy mother's day!

New Shoes: Super Comfy 'Judge' pump by Predictions

I bought this pump today at Payless Shoe Source in Robinsons Galleria. It was super comfy to wear because of the padded sole. The heel is a bit higher in person but still it felt like I was walking on a soft cushion. I like the cute little bow detail... this is just perfect in the office. I bought this for a little over $15 because it is the last pair of size 9 1/2.

You can buy this online for $24.99.

New Shoes: Caged Platform Sandals

As promised, here is my second new purchase--caged platform sandals.  The straps are braided and gathered on the middle to create a totally unique caged look.  It has 1" platform front and 3" heels but these are super comfy to wear.  I was surprised, really.  I wore this the whole day while doing chores around the house.  Believe me.  If a shoe can keep up with my day's activities, it is a keeper, otherwise, I will give them to my older sister.

These are approximately $30.

Here is another view of the sandals.
