The last time I saw huge bows on shoes was seven years or so when I first laid eyes on Christian Louboutin's "Anemone" stiletto bow pumps and it was a shocker at that time because it was so unique. And here now is Jimmy Choo's take on bows, this time with mesh and suede as uppers covered with Swarovski crystals in front and on the heels. Expect to gain an additional 4.7 inches on your height... comfort not guaranteed. Nevertheless, these pumps will surely make a statement especially with simple evening cocktail dresses and gowns.

The heels are treated with generous amount of crystals. 

The toe is slightly rounded and the upper has suede trim to make it more opulent.

I find this really cute. I am not really fond of barely-there footwear but there is something about the cute bow that is irresistible. It has 4-inch heel and this particular version has a satin upper.

This sandal is definitely dressed to the nines. This is a great conversation starter but I know that not everyone will be pleased to wear a tuxedo on their feet. However, for those who want to be under the spotlight, this 'Black Tie' sandal is available at Bloomingdale's for $575. It has 4-inch heel and 1/2-inch platform. Its upper is made of satin with crystal covered "collar".

I grew up playing Barbie dolls. I have different kinds of Barbie dolls that I would mix and match clothes, color their hair, and pretend that I am a part of their make-believe world. I think Barbie's greatest influence on me is her love for shoes. Just a quick post before I go to sleep...

This flat is such a cutie! Aside from the upper being in my favorite color, it has a cute bow for the ultimate lady-like flare AND spikes at the back that act as equalizer. Another thing I like about it is that it is only $30 a pair. This is just perfect for my recovering hairline fracture.

Christmas Present

How did your Christmas went?

After lunch with the whole family, we went to The District to treat the kids. It is a new mall that opened a few weeks ago. While there are already restaurants and some boutiques, there are still vacant shopping spaces. The teens enjoyed drinking coffee at Starbucks and my son was ecstatic to play with his new robot, I was giddy checking out Payless Shoe Store at the ground floor. I have been eyeing this wedge in another store since last month. Well yesterday was the perfect chance for me to finally buy it. My gift for myself.
