Naomi Watts arrived at the Tribeca Film Festival wearing a printed Alexander McQueen tea-length dress that took inspiration from a church's stained glass window. A red clutch was perfect to accessorize the dress but it was those chunky peep toes that ruined it.

New Shoes: Nine West caged sandals

My very generous and loving sister gave this sandal to me. She knows my weakness. Obsession with shoes runs in the family.

Nine West 'Squareone' moccasin made me nostalgic

This moccasin made me nostalgic. It reminded me of the days when I was still a medicine student... those days when I would sleep for only four hours to study, those days when my friends and I would hang out on the parking lot of a supermarket just for the heck of doing it, spending the whole day in front of a cadaver to study anatomy, those days when the hippest cellphone is a Nokia 3210 with a ringtone maker (the first one of its kind). *Side note: You can still create your very own ringtone at mobile17 if you no longer have a "vintage" cellphone. Those were the days! I miss all of those!

A few days ago, I was telling myself to go back to school, take a master's degree... that I need it in my future endeavors. And each time I think about studying again, it reminds me of my medicine days. Although short, it was one heck of an experience. And if I'd go back in time, I'd choose to go back to the days when I wore white uniform and a white moccasin while I carry with me tons of notes and 3-inch thick books that I should finish reading before the semester ends.

If there is one thing I regret not doing, it is finishing my medicine course. It will always be my number one frustration.

This version of 'Desirable' lives by its name (the black one is so blah) and with that it rightfully earned a post in this blog. It has 4 1/4-inch heel and 1-inch platform. What I really like about it is the gold detail that perfectly matches the animal print upper. I think this is a great alternative to metallic sandals for evening parties.

Hmnn... the elastic bandage on the side is not really necessary on the shoe but I can forget about it and recommend that you buy this.  The golden edge added just enough fun on the basic peep toe pump.  It is great on the pocket too because this lady is available for only $88.95 at Endless.

Mirror Image: Nine West 'Fluffy' vs. Nina 'Ulexa' sandals

I couldn't find any, not even a bit, difference between the two.  If only any of the two had a picture of the left pair, you could mistake them as a pair... even the insoles are the same!  In terms of price, Nine West wins by making it on sale for $41.99 and although Nina's is on sale too, they lost by $3.
