Shoe Suggestions: Naomi Watts in chunky peep toes

Photo from E! Online.

Naomi Watts arrived at the Tribeca Film Festival wearing a printed Alexander McQueen tea-length dress that took inspiration from a church's stained glass window. A red clutch was perfect to accessorize the dress but it was those chunky peep toes that ruined it.

May I suggest these shoes for the lovely Ms. Watts?

Brian Atwood 'Hamper' leather and velvet pump

Brian Atwood 'Hamper' leather and velvet pump, $1,795 at Net-A-Porter.

I could not stop myself from watching Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime performance... she's such amazing! She's probably the best live singer (and dancer) there is. Kelly and Michelle were also  great. It's nice to see Destiny's Child sing again. How I missed those days! Their songs were like my therapy when I was in college.

Anyway, I see Beyonce in this Brian Atwood pump... she's tough like a leather but has a soft heart like a velvet. I like that she incorporates both in her every performance.

B Brian Atwood 'Lesina' evening sandal

B Brian Atwood 'Lesina' evening sandal, $325.
I had a nasty fall earlier this day and my head still aches from hitting my head heard on the floor. I don't know  how this B by Brian Atwood 'Lesina' sandal is related to that but I think the diagonally placed straps are just too sexy not to notice.

Its heel measures 4 1/2 inches and you think this will be the perfect evening sandal for your next big event, click here to purchase at Jildor.

Brian Atwood 'Aliyza' slingback pump

Brian Atwood 'Aliyza' slingback pump, $1185 at Forward by Elyse Walker.
Such an exciting pump to wear this season! From the bright red upper to the stitched details on the 5.5-inch heel and 1-inch platform... staring at it makes me want to go to a party. What I like about Brian Atwood is that he is taking a plunge into the interesting and unexpected designs every once in a while.

Shoe Suggestions for Cameron Diaz

Photo from E! Online.
It's such a sad thing when bad shoes land on good people. It's sadder when those good people are known to have good taste in shoes... like Cameron Diaz. She usually wears kick ass shoes except for this one instance during Christian Dior show in Paris Fashion Week Paris (of all places and event). From the ankle up, she's flawless. Oh, that strappy sandal!

She should have worn any of these shoes:

Let me start with this Pierre Hardy sandals with pink neoprene upper. It has 5-inch heel and 1-inch platform. This would be prettier with pink toenails as well.

Vionnet embroidered suede sandals, $795 at Net-A-Porter.
Spanish fiesta! This sandal has 5.5-inch red heel and 1-inch platform. Its upper is made of suede with black, red and white embroidery design.

B by Brian Atwood suede colorblock platform pump

B by Brian Atwood suede colorblock pump, $350 at Neiman Marcus.
Candy, anyone?

How about Nicki Minaj?

I just saw the recent photo of the 'Super Bass' singer and this shoe reminded me of her. Pink, turquoise, blue and yellow are her favorite colors (on the basis of the things she's been wearing lately).

This confection has 51/4" heel and double stacked platforms.

Brian Atwood genuine python platform pumps

Brian Atwood python platform pump, $995 at Nordstrom.
This is the most colorful python pump I have ever seen. I think this would be fun to wear with a plain dress so as not to steal the spotlight from the shoe.
