Over The Top Flower Themed Shoes

DSquared2 feather floral sandals, $1,741-$1,925 at Farfetch.

While there are many flower themed shoes that are less than $100 you'd want to wear this Spring, there are also quite a number of designers who went all out in designing shoes with flowers and all sorts of accouterments that would rival a garden (my garden, perhaps). Take a look at some of our finds:

This Jimmy Choo "Claire" floral print pump looks like a regular pump but what makes it unique is the ruched TPU or plastic wrapped around it for it to look like a bouquet of flowers. I mean, seriously. It's from the runway collection and Rihanna was seen wearing the black version.

This Alexander McQueen buckled boots with plexi heel is for someone who finds happiness in trampling flowers.

Take a look at this Sophia Webster "Jumbo Lilico" sandal with huge flower arrangements. It is from the brand's Spring '18 collection. This brand is known for quirky design so do not be surprised that one of the brand's shoes is included here.

Aside from naming shoes in hard to pronounce words, this brand also designs shoes that are OTT. This is Christian Louboutin "Babouchkaflor" velvet mule with floral sequin and beaded embellishments, not to mention the ruffled velvet collar and glittered heel.

The list will not be complete without including this Dolce & Gabbana sandals with flowers and studs all around.

Alexander McQueen Spring 2104 Shoe Collection

This is not a preview of a sci-fi movie, it is just Alexander McQueen's Spring 2014 shoe collection. Whether you agree or not, Lee's soul is still among us through these shoes.

I actually like this one but, I don't think I can afford this.

Imagine yourself wearing this at the park. Crazy!

Shoe Suggestions: Naomi Watts in chunky peep toes

Photo from E! Online.

Naomi Watts arrived at the Tribeca Film Festival wearing a printed Alexander McQueen tea-length dress that took inspiration from a church's stained glass window. A red clutch was perfect to accessorize the dress but it was those chunky peep toes that ruined it.

May I suggest these shoes for the lovely Ms. Watts?

McQ by Alexander McQueen cutout pointed patent leather pumps

Alexander McQueen is known for over the top designs, both in clothing and shoes, but there are a few ones that are simple in design with a hint of McQueen's bold take on fashion. An example of that is this simple cutout pointed pump in bright orange. You will never go unnoticed in this kind of footwear. The 4-inch heel maybe difficult for some to walk in but fashion means taking risks, right?

This is available at Net-A-Porter for $599.08

Alexander McQueen pumps with ombre translucent heel

Isn't it pretty?

I know the trend in shoes went from invisible looking heels to heelless and between the two, I prefer to have heels that look invisible than not having heels at all. That is the reason why I like this Alexander McQueen pump with ombre translucent heel of 5 inches with 1 1/2 inch platform. Its open toe upper is made of suede with a cute hammered bow. I think this would be perfect to wear this Holiday season.

This sells for $1,195 at Zappos.

Alexander McQueen runway platform no-heel sandal

Alexander McQueen runway platform no-heel sandal, $6,395.
Just one of those crazy non-heeled shoes in the market. It never cease to make me wonder how you will be able to walk in those. I am also amazed at how this shoe costs despite the missing heel... does the cost cover an insurance policy?

If you want to try this, you can buy it here. I hope the box contains instructional videos and first aid kit.

Shoe suggestions for Charlize Theron

Photo from E! Online.
One of my favorite red carpet stars is Charlize Theron. She is so elegant and sophisticated every time. Dress her with a potato sack and I bet she'd still look gorgeous. And her feet are too die for... she has every woman's dream feet. It is disappointing to see her wearing those Christian Louboutin ankle booties with a gorgeous blue Stella McCartney dress at a press event of Prometheus in Paris.

She should have worn any of these instead...

Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 Collection

Sacrificing comfort over style, that is Alexander McQueen's mantra for his Fall 2013 collection. If the armadillo shoes weren't enough... here are the brand's heel-less craziness.

Alexander McQueen studded platform sandal

Alexander McQueen studded platform sandal, $2,295 at Nordstrom.
Wow! I think a biker chic should own this... that is if she has two thousand grands to spend. I am actually amazed at how the people behind the McQueen house maintains the style Alexander was known for. And although I am not a biker chic but has money to spend, I would definitely buy this.

How many more wedge sandals can you handle?

Alexander McQueen studded leather espadrille wedge, $595 at Net-A-Porter.
I love wedge sandals! They are my go-to footwear whenever I feel lazy or whenever my feet hurt from wearing stilettos. (I think I've told you before that my feet hurts more whenever I wear flats.) Whether it's peep toes or sandals... wedges help me make it through the day.

And I have here more wedge sandals which might be of interest to you for your coming spring or summer vacation or when you just want to have extra height without the stiletto 20-minute limit.

Have fun shopping!

Alexander McQueen T-strap horn heel pumps

Alexander McQueen T-strap horn heel pumps, $1085 at Saks Fifth Avenue.
It is not the brand that caught my attention, it's the words horn heel that did. It didn't say in the product description whether the 5-inch heel is actually made of horn. And if it is a horn, it perfectly complemented the old and rustic feel of the upper. From the side stitches and to the T-strap... it looks like a 'modern' medieval shoe.

Alexander McQueen buckled suede boots

Alexander McQueen buckled suede boots, $1,225 at Net-A-Porter.
It is rainy season to where I am and this Alexander McQueen boots would be perfect to keep my feet dry and warm. I used to own several boots when I was in college and I could not understand why I do not own a single pair today. If I were to buy a pair today, I'd buy this suede boots. It has 140mm heels and 25mm platforms. The buckled upper is made of blue suede.

My first glance of Kate Middleton's wedding shoes

Despite my amazement of the fairy tale wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, it felt incomplete because I was not able to see her shoes. If you could very well remember, I actually had a poll about what shoe Kate Middleton will wear with her wedding dress. One of the options is an Alexander McQueen pump with leaf heel. Nobody actually know what she will wear, we didn't even know who designed her wedding dress. When she stepped out of the Goring Hotel, it was only then that we knew who her favored designer was--Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Obviously, she wore shoes designed by the same designer. It was a custom made satin pumps with lace applique of size 5.5. It is currently on display at the Buckingham Palace together with the dress and the ginormous cake for everyone to see.

Now that her shoes is finally revealed, I will now close the book of their fairy tale wedding.

Alexander McQueen velour curved wedge heels

Alexander McQueen velour curved wedge heels, $930 at SSENSE.

If you are browsing for Alexander McQueen shoes, it is hard to miss this red maryjanes with curved wedge heels. Isn't she the sexiest (and dangerous) heels you have ever seen? It measures 5.5 inches with 1 inch platform front. I am normally not fond of out-of-this-world heels but trying on a McQueen shoe is something that I will not miss out.

Shoe Picks for Kate Middleton

A few days left before the most anticipated event of the year--the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. And while the rest of us are excited on what Kate's wedding gown will look like, I am more excited on what shoes she'll wear with it. And while we are still so clueless about some of the most important details of the wedding, if I were Kate, I will pick any of these shoes to go with my wedding dress.

Valentino bow-embellished satin pumps, $1,195 at Net-A-Porter.
Its upper is made of satin, the mesh bow is embellished with crystals, it has 1 inch platform and the heel that measures 5 inches is covered with satin.

Miu Miu crystal embellished heel sandals, $895 at Net-A-Porter.
The upper is made of silk-satin, the heel measures 5 inches and platform measures 1 inch.
This is a simple sandal with a lot of attitude at the back. Who wouldn't fall in love with the crystal embellished heel?

Alexander McQueen resin leaf silk-satin pumps, $1,675 at Net-A-Porter.
This pump is made of silk-satin upper, resin heel with leaf detail that measures 6 inches and platform front of  1 inch.
Look at the beauty of the heels. Amazing!

Christian Louboutin 'Fifi' crystal embellished peep toe pump, $3,095 at Bergdorf Goodman.
I doubt if Her Royal Highness would approve of this overly expensive pump. But, it will sure look good with the wedding dress.

Badgley Mischka 'Kandid' pump, $200 at Shoebox.
A super affordable pump that will pass the strict austerity measures of the palace. Its upper is made of satin with glittered cap toe and the heel measures 4 inches.

Jimmy Choo glitter fabric peep toe pump, $695 at Bergdorf Goodman.
This is a more affordable sparkling shoe. Its upper is made of glittered fabric, the heel measures approximately 4 inches while the platform front is 1 inch thick.
