How did your Christmas went?

After lunch with the whole family, we went to The District to treat the kids. It is a new mall that opened a few weeks ago. While there are already restaurants and some boutiques, there are still vacant shopping spaces. The teens enjoyed drinking coffee at Starbucks and my son was ecstatic to play with his new robot, I was giddy checking out Payless Shoe Store at the ground floor. I have been eyeing this wedge in another store since last month. Well yesterday was the perfect chance for me to finally buy it. My gift for myself.

Do you wear heels when you drive?

I did not have any formal driving lessons. I just asked a co-employee to teach me since my work requires me to be out of the office most of the time. When he was teaching me how, he asked me "You are wearing high heels. Are you okay to drive in that?" I said yes since I don't want to bring another shoe to use for driving.

Since then, I have been driving in heels. I only drive automatic transmission engines so it is easy for me to drive in heels.

New Shoes: Lower East Side 'Holton' peep toe pump

I passed by Payless Shoe Store earlier this day, with no intention to buy a shoe, but I could not resist the temptation... I could not resist this Lower East Side peep toe pumps with woven detail on the sides. It was love at first sight and first fit. I especially love the wooden effect stacked heel of 4 inches that is being balanced by the 1-inch platform. I stashed about $30 for this pair. Love! Love! Love!

I am excited to wear this in the office!
