Bottega Veneta bow embellished pump

Bottegaa Veneta bow embellished pump, $882 at Net-A-Porter.
Isn't this the perfect Spring pump?

This is one of the cutest bows I have seen. If you are the type who fancies dresses over pants, this pump would be a perfect footwear to complement your dress this Spring. The pointed toe is making a big comeback this season.

The shape of this pump is so vintage-y. It's upper is made of leather with grosgrain trim. It's heel measures 5 inches. I recommend you wear it like this:

Bottega Veneta mirror leather boot

Are you bold enough to wear these brightly colored mirror boots by Bottega and Veneta?  I am not.  I couldn't possibly wear blindingly bright boots in the tropics.  If you like it, however, you can buy these at the brand's website for $1,190.

Bottega Veneta metallic leather and suede wedge sandals

Don't you just love the curves of these wedge sandals?  This type of wedge is very much predominant in the brand's shoe collection for the season.  Remember their overstitched wedge?  The metallic ankle and side straps of these Bottega Veneta wedge sandals are so sexy.  You can grab you pair at Net-A-Porter for $970.

New Wedges for Me and for You

I bought myself a new wedge sandals today.  It has a raffia effect platform and crisscross straps.  Why did I bought it?  My feet got tired of walking in thong slippers while on a shopping spree so I had to buy something with heels.  You are reading it right.  My feet hurts when walking for a long period of time wearing flats because of my plantar fasciitis.  Each time the ligaments under my feet relaxes or shortens, stepping hurts, so I have to wear heels to stretch them a bit.  I have not experienced it for quite sometime and it a bit bothers me why my feet  starts to hurt again.  I guess I have to consult my podiatrist and physiatrist again... I bet I'll get more sermon than the last time. I could hear my grandma saying how high my heels are and for me to be careful not to trip.

Since I am talking about wedges (again), here are more wedges that you might want to check out (purchase):

Steve Madden 'Riddgge' wedge crisscross sandal with zip back closure, $89.95 at Endless.  This is also available in black.

Lauren by Ralph Lauren 'Nailah' nude wedge, $98 at Endless.  This is also available in black.

Bottega Veneta suede ankle wedge boots, $890 at Net-A-Porter.

Yves Saint Laurent lace-up wedge, $895 at Madison LA.

Christian Louboutin 'Deroba' flannel wedge espadrille, $595 at Saks.

Bottega Veneta overstitched patent leather wedge court shoe with ankle strap

I wonder why I am into wedges lately.  Anyway, this wedge by Bottega Veneta is gorgeous, I like its texture, the zigzag stitches are a great alternative to patterned or animal prints and the ankle straps are really feminine.  Wear this with a pencil skirt or a sweater dress for the uber chic look.  You can get this at Net-A-Porter for $800.

Bottega Veneta T-strap reptile sandal

This is just a simple sandal but what I like about this is the interesting, somewhat sculptural, heel.  It is basically a no non-sense sandal that you can slip into together with a pair of trousers, button down shirt and some accessories.  You can get this at DSW for $199.99 ($630.05 off from its original price).

Bottega Veneta cut-out wedge sandal

You can't see it well but the wedge actually has cut-outs which makes it interesting.  I like wedges, it gives me height but with the much needed support so sprucing it up with holes is definitely a yes.  I also like the different shades of red to make this wedge livelier.  This would be the first Bottega Veneta shoe in this blog so I would like to make it interesting.  You can buy this wedge here.
