New Shoes: Fioni 'Kipsie Chaumiere' peep toe pumps

I bought my first pumps after my full recovery from a foot injury. My doctor said it is ok now for me to wear heels in one condition... to have an alternate low-heeled shoe for my feet to rest. Agree!

So, here they are. I wore it yesterday for the first day of my Financial Management class and I was able to survive without foot ache or breaking any bone after countless walking up and down the stairs.

Its upper is made of patent leather with contrast white stitching for a preppy appeal and the cute little bows for the ultimate girly appeal. It has 4-inch heels with 1/4-inch platform. I bought them at payless.com for less than $10.

I grew up playing Barbie dolls. I have different kinds of Barbie dolls that I would mix and match clothes, color their hair, and pretend that I am a part of their make-believe world. I think Barbie's greatest influence on me is her love for shoes. The recent Oscars, I think, is the mot glamorous event of the year. I was so amazed at how the stars dressed. Christmas Present

How did your Christmas went?

After lunch with the whole family, we went to The District to treat the kids. It is a new mall that opened a few weeks ago. While there are already restaurants and some boutiques, there are still vacant shopping spaces. The teens enjoyed drinking coffee at Starbucks and my son was ecstatic to play with his new robot, I was giddy checking out Payless Shoe Store at the ground floor. I have been eyeing this wedge in another store since last month. Well yesterday was the perfect chance for me to finally buy it. My gift for myself.

Christian Louboutin announced earlier this year that he will create his version of Cinderella's shoe. I was thinking its upper would be made of plastic and its heel to be perspex to make it look like it is made of glass, but his interpretation was actually different.

Here, his version is made of lace adorned with crystals and butterflies. Of course, the red sole is there.
