Celebrity Shoes: Kerry Washington in Roger Vivier embellished boots

Kerry Washington graced the Golden Globes wearing a black Prabal Gurung sequined dress with side slit and she looked stunning. The dress all by itself is a classic but Kerry wore the unconventional but interesting boots to make her look a bit edgy.

The boots in question is by Roger Vivier, it has crystal embellishments arranged into flowers sewn onto a mesh zip-up top with pointy toes. She just won the Best Shoes of the night.

This would be Roger Vivier's first time to step its soles to this blog and I am glad to  have found his pumps in my favorite color--turquoise.  I have actually seen various colors of this on Yes! magazine--an entertainment magazine in the Philippines.  Gretchen Barretto--the fashionista/actress/model extraordinaire and the better half of businessman Antonio 'Tonyboy' Cojuangco-- has this pump in several colors--red, gold, and nude.  During Preview Magazine's Best Dressed 2010 ball, she paired her red Roger Vivier pumps with red Alexander McQueen dress.  If there is one woman in the Philippines that I admire for her gorgeous collection of shoes--it is Gretchen Barretto.  She even stores her designer shoes in personalized Goyard and LV trunks.
