Anne Hathaway flashes her radiant smile in Valentino x Every Mother Counts cocktail party in N.Y.C. The actress is wearing a heavily beaded multicolored dress and platform sandals by Saint Laurent.

The Saint Laurent "Tribute" sandals is perhaps the brand's most iconic style. It has been in the market for years and it still remains current and fashionable. While the "Tribute" is also available in a lower heel version, Anne's is 105mm. It has a contrast black edge to emphasize the iconic T-bar and looped strap front design. The Craziest Designer Shoes

It has been a while since I posted about shoes that are on the crazy side but are on the market for the small margin of customers who are giddy about extraordinary shoe designs. Those shoes do not come cheap, though, because most of them are designed and produced by established brands and they are launched on the runway. Take a look at some of the daring shoe designs so far.

Dolce & Gabbana "Carretto Siciliano" printed pumps, $4,995.

This Dolce & Gabbana pump is actually fun to look at. It reminds me of fiestas, carnivals and pizzas. The crazy thing about it is the heel in the shape of a woman who looks like a queen because of the embellished heel atop her head.

Gucci "Queer Core' embellished pumps, $2,390.

This lady debuted on the Resort 2017 runway. It also comes in black, light blue and white. What's crazy about this shoe is that it is a brogue with buckled toe, crystal embellished heel and the three straps that go up above the ankle. It actually looks like a 4-in-1 shoe--pumps, brogues, sandals and boots.

Balmain "Constance" suede pump, $1,585.

The only crazy thing about this Balmain pump is the exaggerated tongue that creates an illusion of a boots if you look at it in front. It also comes in all black suede. It's Balmain and I bet Kim Kardashian-West won't mind owning one.

Aquazzura "Voodoo" sandals, $1,950.

So, this Aquazzura sandals is tribal inspired. Tassels and beads are recurring embellishments on shoes in the past few years but when added with feathers to tickle your legs, that's something.

Tom Ford buckled strap sandals, $1,790.

Unstable heel? Check! Multiple buckles? Check! Crazy! But in all honesty, I would love to try this on.

Vetements + Manolo Blahnik satin boots, $4,225.

This is what Rihanna and Kim Kardashian-West wore a few days ago. Riri wore the bright orange version while Kim had it in black. The crazy feature of this boots is that it goes way up to the hips--the waist, almost, if you are petite. This design collaboration is from the Spring 2017 collection.

Chanel tweed sneaker boots, $895.

This shoe has an identity crisis. Period.

Celebrity Shoes: Janelle Monae in Christian Louboutin sandals

Janelle Monae's Oscars 2017 after party gown by Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture is not less than voluminous compared to her earlier Elie Saab Haute Couture gown that had mixed reviews from fashion critics. But we're not here for the dress, we're here for her Christian Louboutin "Marchavekel" ankle wrap sandals.

We still can't get enough of the Victoria's Secret show hype and you can't blame us because all the girls were gorgeous. The show welcomed new angels and one of them was Bella Hadid who wore an intricate see through gown by Julien Macdonald and Jimmy Choo 'Tizzy' sandals.

Dolce and Gabbana rose embellished metallic caged sandals

The literal caged sandals by Dolce & Gabbana has its 6.5-inch wedge and 3-inch platform made of metal with rose embellishments. Its upper is made of leather with velvet insole. I think that something so delicately designed like this will be better appreciated when displayed in a gallery rather than worn. Where do you take this for repair? Cobbler or welder?

Lanvin's Spring 2014 RTW was one spectacular show. Aside from the lust worthy metallic dresses with intricate pleats, it's the shoes that made each and every look exciting and luxurious.
