This sandal is definitely dressed to the nines. This is a great conversation starter but I know that not everyone will be pleased to wear a tuxedo on their feet. However, for those who want to be under the spotlight, this 'Black Tie' sandal is available at Bloomingdale's for $575. It has 4-inch heel and 1/2-inch platform. Its upper is made of satin with crystal covered "collar".

Shoe Suggestions for Cameron Diaz

It's such a sad thing when bad shoes land on good people. It's sadder when those good people are known to have good taste in shoes... like Cameron Diaz. She usually wears kick ass shoes except for this one instance during Christian Dior show in Paris Fashion Week Paris (of all places and event). From the ankle up, she's flawless. Oh, that strappy sandal!

Kate Spade 'Leena' pointed toe bow pumps, $325 at Piperlime.

I stumbled upon this Kate Spade bow pump with really pointed toe. I am not against pointed toes, but, this is too pointed for my taste. I tried browsing if there are similar shoes from other designers collections and I was surprised to see that there are many. Does this mean, pointed toes are  now in?

The point is... would you wear them?

I think Kate Spade has mastered everything feminine and sophisticated, and this 'Gael' slingback with sparkling flower applique is just one of the many proofs. 

It has 4 inch heel with 1 inch platform which is the perfect heel height for an evening event. If I were to go to a party, this pretty will be on top of my go to footwear. I mean, you can never go wrong with nude pumps and sparklers aren't a bad addition, too.

I know you will have mixed feelings about this pointed wedge pump. But, just please allow me to justify why I like it. The color blocking, the slight wedge and the pointed toe looks vintage-y. I am actually imagining Audrey Hepburn or Jacky O. wearing this. This is also available in turquoise--which I am really dying to have.

I noticed that one of the trends in shoe design today is glitter.  I couldn't say I am all for it... I still have to consider some issues... I don't want to leave chunks of glitters along my way.  Not all that glitters is gold, sometimes they're just glittered shoes.  For the sake of some femmes who are attracted to the shimmers and glitters, here are some of them that I hope will satisfy their cravings.

To start with, here is Christian Louboutin's 'Pigalle' glittered pump with 5 1/4 inch heels.  The red sole is a great contrast to the glittery upper.  This is available at Neiman Marcus for $595.

This Miu Miu glitter loafer pumps with ankle strap is both evening and casual.  You can have these at Net-A-Porter for $695.

Giuseppe Zanotti 'Bluette' glitter wedge boots.  More costume-y to me but you may want to try it.  You can have these at Zappos for $995.

KG by Kurt Geiger 'Lila' flats is a good alternate to evening shoes if your feet gets tired wearing high heels. Get these at Asos for $224.12.

The last one, Kate Spade 'Charm' glittered bow slingback sandals that looks so cute and yummy (I am thinking candies).  You can have these at Zappos for $325.

Bloomingdale's suggests this Kate Spade peep toe to be worn in the office or evening event... I agree.  Although metallic isn't something a career woman would usually wear in the office, I think it is acceptable in some way.  I like the floral cutout detail, it still captures spring and summer.  The 4-inch heel and slightly platform front will give you the necessary height that you want.  You can buy this at Bloomingdale's for $345.
