No kidding. This is a shoe. A wedge shoe in particular. I have no idea how to wear it and even if you get to fit your feet in, I don't know how you will be able to walk.

United Nude 'Haiku' wedge sandal, $285.

As promised in my post about United Nude's S/S 2011 collection teaser, here is another of their futuristic and artistic 'Haiku' wedge sandal. Aside from reminding me of the Japanese 3 phrase poem, it also reminds me of their traditional footwear. It is so serene to look at. This wedge is made of vegan leather--just perfect if you wanted to promote animal friendly fashion.

So, I got an email from United Nude (not exactly) about their S/S 2011 shoes and boy, I was blown away by their gorgeous wedges!

Sculptured heels will forever be associated with United Nude.

Iris van Herpen for United Nude weird looking platform bootie

This bootie by Iris van Herpen for United Nude is probably the weirdest shoe I have seen, probably second to Alexander McQueen's armadillo shoes.  I thought this is the kind of shoe that Lady Gaga, Kelis or Daphne Guinness would wear on normal days but I was shocked when Kim Kardashian , Solange Knowles and Louise Roe were seen wearing this in broad daylight.

United Nude square heel pump

This square heel pump by United Nude's least concern is support.   It creates an illusion of barely there heel support because the heel extends to the back making a protrusion.  It doesn't say in the description if the heel is made of wood or plastic.  I wonder how it feels to walk in this.  If you are adventurous, you can go to Far Fetch and spend $262 for this shoe.

United Nude triangle heel sandals

Wow!  I love the artistry and architectural design of this shoe.  This sandals is from United Nude's Fall 2010 collection, you can have this now by going to Oak NYC and spending $498.  You will be the talk of the town with this.  It is bold and courageously different from all other crazy heels that I have seen.

United Nude 'Eamz' pump

I am not in union with this.  How do you walk in this, anyway?  It looks like if a button is pushed, something from the 'heel' will come out.  It also looks like a bottle opener.  Could it be? Or a dry sealer? A faucet?  The possibilities are endless.
