Rachel Zoe 'Katia' wedge sandals

The simplicity of this wedge sandal made me miss even more wearing heels. I have been wearing flats for three months now and my high heeled shoes are desperately screaming for attention.  My doctor said it is okay for me to wear shoes with slight heels, he meant shoes with 2-inch heels. Sad.

Casadei sculptured wedge sandals

I guess what I am trying to say is that this Casadei wedge has been haunting me lately. Its heel height exceeds my standard and I was advised to refrain from wearing heels because of a hairline fracture on my toe, but, it is just so pretty to look at. I like the combination of nude, pink and tangerine--very summery! This also comes in black.

Christmas Present

How did your Christmas went?

After lunch with the whole family, we went to The District to treat the kids. It is a new mall that opened a few weeks ago. While there are already restaurants and some boutiques, there are still vacant shopping spaces. The teens enjoyed drinking coffee at Starbucks and my son was ecstatic to play with his new robot, I was giddy checking out Payless Shoe Store at the ground floor. I have been eyeing this wedge in another store since last month. Well yesterday was the perfect chance for me to finally buy it. My gift for myself.

What's up with Burberry Prorsum? Although it says in the description that these are pumps, I think it is much more like sneakers with a demi-wedge. This is from the brand's fall/winter collection. I usually look first on how a shoe looks on the runway or somebody's feet before I give my judgment and more often than not I give fair (if not positive) comments on the shoe if it looks good on the model's feet. But, this time, this shoe, doesn't look good on the runway. It looks heavy.

While out in NYC, Kim Kardashian was spotted wearing Giuseppe Zanotti 'Spinot' cap toe wedge booties with zigzag pattern. This is not the first time the reality star was seen wearing really dangerous heels that she's probably already mastered wearing them even when running. Let's wait and see if she'd wear Lady Gaga's. I hope not.

I am lazy tying up and buckling shoes and I am always in a hurry so I do not have the luxury of time tying and untying and buckling and unbuckling. Roar! I am slowly dying over this leopard print wedge. I went to the mall today and saw tons of leopard print shoes that are on sale. But, I wasn't able to buy one because I was in a hurry. While waiting for another chance to go to the mall, ogling at this wedge will suffice... for now.

It has 5 9/10" wedge and upper is made of leopard print linen with contrast yellow ankle strap. This wedge is from the brand's Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. For this day, let's go cazh all the way with a little Safari vibe... after all, it is a leopard print wedge we are talking about here.
