Zosia Mamet wears a simple pink dress with embellished collar that looks sweet and innocent and then complemented it with a plaid platform sandals by Miu Miu that screams she is also a woman who likes to party hard.

This Miu Miu platform sandal has 5-inch heel and 2.25-inch platform that are both covered in multicolored plaid while the buckled straps are embellished with crystals. It is available at Barneys for $1,250.

Nicki Minaj attended the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards in her favorite uniform--a pink latex unitard that showed off her every curves. She was also expected to have a wardrobe malfunction because of cutouts on her chest, but fortunately she didn't. What she had was a camel toe that distracts her conversation-worthy Christian Louboutin lace-up sandals/booties.

At first I thought it was the shoe that I mentioned imagining making an appearance in 50 Shades of Grey because it has a mirrored heel and in black upper. But, this Charlotte Olympia 'Showbiz' pump is actually different from that shoe. This one has a golden mirror 5.5 inch heel that reflects the brand's cobweb logo on the sole, it has a silk-satin upper with 1.5 inch platform and is cheaper at $995 a pair at Net-A-Porter.

I am not a big fan of Charlotte Olympia's signature platform, but, I must say that for this particular shoe, I am impressed. I like the color and the cute flower on the toe, and I believe that every girl has a sweet spot for flowers. Imagine yourself wearing this shoe with a vintage inspired dress on a Sunday picnic at the park. Lovely!

It's officially summer in the Philippines and the sun is shining brightly than usual this time of the year. The sky is clear, which is perfect if you want to have a tan. Le Silla 140mm suede cut out sandals

I was diagnosed with hairline fracture on my left foot metatarsal. It is the reason why I have pain on my foot after long walks even if I am wearing flats. All the while I thought it was because of my plantar fasciitis. My doctor advised me to stay away from heels for about a month to allow the fracture to heal. After a month, I will have to have another x-ray to check and by then my doctor will advise what to do next. I am quite sad hearing the diagnosis. It means no heels and no playing volleyball because excessive running and jumping could also worsen the fracture.

Even if I have money to buy this Le Silla sandals, I wouldn't be able to wear it. Sigh! This sandals would be perfect this Spring and Summer!

Since we will celebrate Valentine's Day and red happens to be the color of the month, allow me to present to you my personal list of the best red pumps (in no particular order). Red is a sexy and seductive color and when you use it to an equally gorgeous shape of the pumps, it will bring any of its wearer to a certain level of confidence that will surely draw a man's attention. You know that feeling when you are wearing confidence together with your clothes and your shoes that when you enter a room, as if magic, people turn their heads and you see on their face an approving look?

I could not stop myself from watching Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime performance... she's such amazing! She's probably the best live singer (and dancer) there is. Kelly and Michelle were also  great. It's nice to see Destiny's Child sing again. How I missed those days! Their songs were like my therapy when I was in college.

Anyway, I see Beyonce in this Brian Atwood pump... she's tough like a leather but has a soft heart like a velvet. I like that she incorporates both in her every performance.

New Shoes: Le donne gray platform pumps

This pump is actually my 3rd pair of shoes this year. Don't blame me for buying too many shoes last month because I almost lived inside the mall. This is my first pair from Le donne and it is on sale for roughly $10. Le donne is not a common boutique in the nearby mall because their stores are usually in Manila. The brand has been in the business since the 1980s and was endorsed by Korina Sanchez--a popular news anchor in the Philippines.

It has 4-inch heels and 1-inch hidden platform. The upper is made of patent leather with a stretch cloth covering the toe. I was actually looking for a black pump but I came across this and I think this will do to match my office uniform. I wore this last week and it is surprisingly comfortable.
