Melissa + Jean Paul Gaultier strappy sandal

When Melissa collaborated with Vivienne Westwood to make cute plastic shoes with cherries and orbs, it was a buzz.  Just recently the Brazilian brand collaborated with another notable fashion designer--Jean Paul Gaultier.  Their collaboration produced this salmon colored strappy sandal.  The product was launched last June but I think it did not make enough buzz to surpass what the cherries and orbs had.  In all fairness, I find this sandal cute.  I actually had a plastic strappy sandal when I was a kid (minus the 100mm heel).  If you are interested in buying this, just click here and spend $260.  This is also available in black.

All I could think of when I saw this sandals by Jean Paul Gaultier was Lara Flynn Boyle's ballerina get-up during the 2003 Golden Globe Awards.  Do you have the guts to wear this?  If you do, click here and spend $749.25 previously $1,154 and be the talk of the town for years... just don't wear this with a tutu.

Well hello there vixen!  These Gaultier pumps are sexy!  I love the red heels and the see through trimmings... the basic black pumps just got better and more interesting.  The longer I look at it, the more it makes me wanna buy this.  This is available at Zappos for $1,179.  This would be the first Gaultier in this blog and I am impressed, I hope to feature more of his designs here.
