Betsey Johnson 'Maggi' polka dot pump

Betsey Johnson 'Maggi' pump, $99.95.
How's your day?

It's raining where I am right now. It's scorching hot earlier today and then it rained. I really appreciate the raindrops kissing the ground... it is so refreshing. I wish I could go out and dance in the rain. The afternoon rain signifies that summer is over. Too bad that this Betsey Johnson pump came in late. It is made of suede with polka dots and a cute little bow. The 1 inch platform front is covered with raffia while the stacked heel measures 4.5 inches. I definitely could not wear this during the rainy season. In other parts of the world where it is still spring or summer, you can definitely wear it.

Mirror Image: Christian Dior 'Libertine' sandals vs. Betsey Johnson asymmetric pump

Hmnn...

Christian Dior's 'Libertine' sandals is I think one of the label's most popular shoes. I featured it last September 2010 and Saks Fifth Avenue's stock ran out after only a week since I featured it. The moment I saw Betsey Johnson's asymmetrical pump, I immediately thought of Christian Dior. They have obvious differences (color, platform and heel) but the ruched upper and peep toe are basically the same.

Christian Dior's is already out of stock (again) and if you like the style, Betsey Johnson is just around the corner waiting for you to click the purchase this button, anyway, she's only $126 compared to $780.

Betsey Johnson 'Antoinete' espadrille sandal

If you are afraid to wear white shoes, this espadrille wedge by Betsey Johnson is an alternative.  It is not really white, not a bridal shoe but definitely fun to wear because of the huge flower on the side.  Wear this with khaki shorts or a flowy floral dress and you will look divine.  You can have this at Lord & Taylor for $77.99 previously $165.
