Celebrity Shoes: Kendall Jenner wears Yeezy transparent sandals

Kendall Jenner attended the Tiffany & Co. "Believe in Dreams" event in N.Y.C. wearing a sheer Elie Saab dress and transparent sandals.

This sandal is from Yeezy Season 6 collection and sells for $650 at Intermix. The entire Kardashian-Jenner clan is in full support promoting Kanye West's fashion line that has mixed reviews from fans and fashion critics alike. The Yeezy brand has positioned itself as "fashionable" and that its designs are one-of-a-kind considering its "high-end" status.

Pointed pumps are definitely in. Here, following the bandwagon is Casadei. But, this particular pointed toe has some "special" feature on it--studs, that quite resembles Christian Louboutin's 'Pigalle' with spikes. What are your thoughts?

I need some intervention here. Louboutin's design is currently on the wait list while I have been seeing Trump's design for a month now. If this is the first time that Louboutin will release 'Duvett' and if it is not available in any finish (like what he does with his other designs), OMG, does that mean he copied Trump's design?! Oxygen please!

Well, he did not! 'Duvette' has been around since last year.

Mirror Image: Chloe suede and cork platform sandal vs. Rosegold 'Pana'

I featured Chloe's gladiator sandal last November and with one strap less comes Rosegold's 'Pana' sandal with the same cork heel and platform and suede upper. And between the two, I prefer Rosegold's because it fits my limited budget.

Mirror Image: Miu Miu cutout platform pump vs.Luxury Rebel 'Sakura'

It would be hard to tell which of the two is Miu Miu's if I did not put labels. They are not exactly mirror image because Miu Miu's is a peep toe, but other than that they look pretty much the same. I personally think that Luxury Rebel's version looks prettier both in style and price.

Miu Miu's can be bought at Barneys for $650 while Luxury Rebel's 'Sakura' is available at Bloomingdale's for $99.

The only difference between the two is the heel. Miu Miu opted a covered heel look while Bebe let it plain red and pointed.

Triple check we got there. Christian Louboutin's is made of leather while Steve Madden's is made of satin. The red sole, of course, is missing in Steve Madden's version. 'Madame Butterfly' is available at Saks for $1,195 while 'Faame' is available at Zappos for $76.77 previously $109.95.

Christian Dior's 'Libertine' sandals is I think one of the label's most popular shoes. I featured it last September 2010 and Saks Fifth Avenue's stock ran out after only a week since I featured it. The moment I saw Betsey Johnson's asymmetrical pump, I immediately thought of Christian Dior. They have obvious differences (color, platform and heel) but the ruched upper and peep toe are basically the same.

Christian Dior's is already out of stock (again) and if you like the style, Betsey Johnson is just around the corner waiting for you to click the purchase this button, anyway, she's only $126 compared to $780.

Mirror Image: Christian Louboutin 'Clou Neoud 150mm' spiked slingbacks vs. N.Y.L.A. 'Genevieve'

One of the most loved shoes of Christian Louboutin is this 'Clou Neoud 150mm' spiked slingback sandals.  It is so popular that the biggest Hollywood stars and starlets are often seen wearing it.  It is not surprising that other brands are also inspired by it.

Here is N.Y.L.A.'s 'Genevieve' spiked slingback version without the red soles and with fewer spikes. This sells at Nordstrom for $104.95.

Mirror Image: Jimmy Choo 'Quinzie' mesh booties vs.Mojo Moxy 'Venus'

These are real Jimmy Choo 'Quinzie' mesh booties as you may very well notice. This sells for $1,213.33 previously $1,728.57 at My Theresa.  It has crystals and it is suede.

Marc Jacobs's mouse flats has a serious competition

I can sense a competition here...  These are Ragamuffin's 'Mouse'ballet flats... Marc Jacobs's worst tight competition ever.  If you can very well remember, Marc Jacobs's 'Mouse' ballet flats is made of patent leather, it has pink little ears and white whiskers... although you wouldn't caught me dead wearing it, I think it is cuter compared to the ones above.  It has brown ears, nose and whiskers and white button eyes... gives me the creeps.

The first time I saw Charlotte Russe's studded pumps, I immediately thought of Brian Atwood's.  They really look the same except for the color and the price difference.  Which one do you prefer?

Mirror Image: Christian Louboutin 'Praia' vs. Mod Cloth 'Roundtrip Rendezvous' wedge sandal

Obviously, the original one-Christian Louboutin 'Praia' 140 wedge sandal has darker raffia sides and darker and smoother leather finish while Mod Cloth's 'Roundtrip Rendezvous' has lighter raffia and faux leather.  Another difference at close inspection is that Louboutin's wedge is higher compared to Mod Cloth's.  Which one will you choose?  The Louboutin is $535 at the brand's US site while Mod Cloth's is $75.99.

These are Kurt Geiger's 'Echinacea' pumps with removable bow detail that I featured last July that you can buy for $280.

These are Marni's version with thicker heels that can be bought for $10 more than Kurt Geiger's.

Mirror Image: Rock and Republic 'Lotus' vs. Boutique 9 'Kaymen' corset pump

 

I think I have seen this before on Katy Perry's feet.  Although it doesn't look exactly like it, they both have corset design at the back.  It is hard to choose which one should win this round because both are gorgeous, so I will leave it all up to you.  This Boutique 9 'Kaymen' pump is available at Bluefly for $112 while Rock and Republic's 'Lotus' is already sold out at Shopbop, you can still purchase it at Endless for $162.22.

Badgley Mischka is available at Endless for $200 while RSVP is available at Zappos for $89.  I have seen more RSVP designs that look like Badgley Mischka's... they are too many.  I am too loyal to Badgley Mischka's to like any of RSVP's shoes.
