How did your Christmas went?

After lunch with the whole family, we went to The District to treat the kids. It is a new mall that opened a few weeks ago. While there are already restaurants and some boutiques, there are still vacant shopping spaces. The teens enjoyed drinking coffee at Starbucks and my son was ecstatic to play with his new robot, I was giddy checking out Payless Shoe Store at the ground floor. I have been eyeing this wedge in another store since last month. Well yesterday was the perfect chance for me to finally buy it. My gift for myself.

Sam Edelman 'Lulu' buckled booties

I miss wearing booties. If there is one thing I would like to have this Holiday, it is definitely a pair of tough-looking booties like this Sam Edelman 'Lulu' to prevent cold feet. Its upper is made of suede with leather overlay and buckles. The heel measures 4 1/2 inches with 1/2 inch of platform.

Oh, by the way, this will not cost you a fortune... it is only $99.99, previously $200. What a deal!

Christmas Wishlist: DSQUARED2 ankle boots

This DSQUARED2 ankle boots automatically goes into my wishlist. I could not remember how many times I have mentioned how I like boots regardless of the weather.

I have many reasons for liking this boots... the color combination, the heel height of 5 inches with 1 1/4-inch hidden platform, the leather lace, the zip-up style, the buckled sides. It looks complicated to wear but it isn't... just like me. People see me as hard to please, a snob even; but once you get to know me, I am actually a down to earth person, I laugh at the silliest things and I am easy to please. 

But this boots doesn't come cheap, it is $1,250 at Zappos Couture. I better save up until Christmas.

Christian Louboutin 'Lady Peep' 150mm in navy python

I am such a sucker for blue things. I own two blue shoes--suede peep toe and suede flats--and I don't mind owning a third pair especially if that pair would be this Christian Louboutin 'Lady Peep' in navy python. I love the contrast of blue upper and red heel.

It has 150mm heel and 50mm platform. The arch is simply stunning! I don't mind if this shoe is not made for dancing... I don't dance, anyway.

Christian once said that a shoe has so much more to offer than just to walk. Lady Peep promises that you'll be the most confident girl in the room wherever you wear her.

What an interesting heel!

Miu Miu never cease to amaze me with their shoe designs. They always give a classic design a bit of an edge without going over the top. I like what they did with this peep toe pump. I really really like the unusual curved heel!

The bow has a sweet touch, too. My heart melts just looking at it.

 Its upper is made of purple suede. The suede-covered heel measures 140mm with 40mm platform.

I went to the nearest mall earlier to buy a dress and was surprised to see a newly opened Payless Shoe Store. I immediately went inside and this pump greeted me. It is so gorgeous in person! I hurriedly went to the size 9 1/2 section to fit it and it was so comfy! I am dying over the black leopard print. I will be back and next time I will make sure 'Katia' will be inside my shopping bag.

Having a Payless Shoe Store at 30 minutes drive is definitely a threat to my bank account.

Christian Louboutin 'Alti 160mm' spiked metallic leather pumps

I told you Louboutin will not be setting aside spikes for his shoes. Perhaps, it will remain on his shoes forever. I am not complaining, in fact, I would really lurve to wear his shoes, especially the spiked ones like this 'Alti 160mm'. I really really like it... I like it so much that this goes directly into my Christmas Wishlist.

Lanvin frame wedge metallic leather sandals, $1,950 at Net-A-Porter.

Wow! I think Lanvin creates one of the most gorgeous and sexiest shoes. Last year it was all about chains. This year, still sticking to their hardware theme, it is about metal heels. I am not at all complaining... and it is just the side that we're looking at.

The hardness and stiffness of the frame wedge is balanced by the delicate flower design and pointed toe.

The heels that could launch a thousand ships (I hope Helen of Troy won't mind me borrowing the phrase) or a thousand jealous feet, perhaps.

Giuseppe Zanotti cutout suede sandals, $850 at Net-A-Porter.

Oh, Giuseppe Zanotti, why do I love thee? It will take a whole day to count the ways. Will starting with this cutout suede sandals be enough? It has 5.5-inch heel and 1.5-inch platform in rich terracotta suede upper.

Sigh! I wish could have this for Christmas. Wouldn't it be nice to wear it with your best cocktail dress on Christmas eve? This pretty has satin covered 5 1/2 inch stiletto and 1 1/2 inch platform. It's upper is made of satin. I especially love the ankle strap... it simply screams sexy!

Nautical stripes, anyone?

I am infatuated with this shoe. I like the stripes and the golden rope bow. Even if summer is over to where I am, I will wear it as long as it is not raining. I am already seeing myself wearing it with my cropped pants, leggings, and dress.

The bow actually trims the holes. Clever isn't it?

Christian Louboutin 'Supervic Strass' 120mm pumps, $3895.

Hold your breaths my pretties... breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out... now, tell me, doesn't this pump remind you of Narnia's wicked Ice Queen? She's so wickedly pretty and that's what Christian Louboutin's 'Supervic Strass' pump is all about.

Its upper, crisscross strap and 120mm heel is covered entirely with crystals. This pump is from the brand's Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Pricey as it is, but I know there are people out there who will, in one way or another, have it in their closets. But, they will have to wait until July 7th for the shipping to start.

This goes directly into my Christmas wishlist.

Jimmy Choo suede and crystal strappy sandal, $1,095 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

I think this is one of the sexiest sandals I have seen so far. I am so dying over the suede straps with crystals. A gorgeous sandal such as this should be worn during a special formal event or gala. It has 110mm stiletto and zip back for easy wearing. The footbed is made of leather and suede.
