Despite the success, I can't consider this pump one thing that suits the majority's taste. Blame it to the molded toe design.

A Shoe Lover's Kryptonite

I was fortunate to visit a shoe factory in Liliw, Laguna. It is known to be the slipper capital of the Philippines. Although the town is famously known for their sturdy slippers, they also make the most beautiful shoes. In fact, aside from Marikina, the town supplies shoes to most of the biggest department stores in the Philippines. Surely, a shoe-aholic will go gaga fitting and buying shoes from over than a dozen shoe boutiques in single a street. You can actually buy ten pairs of shoes if you have a hundred dollars in your wallet.

So, if you happen to be in the Philippines or if you are planning to come here, make sure to include Liliw, Laguna in your itinerary. I am a hundred percent sure that you will not leave the place without buying a pair of shoes.

What an interesting heel!

Miu Miu never cease to amaze me with their shoe designs. They always give a classic design a bit of an edge without going over the top. I like what they did with this peep toe pump. I really really like the unusual curved heel!

The bow has a sweet touch, too. My heart melts just looking at it.

Campaign Period Style

We have a little campaign period in the office for the twenty members of the council and 1 chairman for our corporate social responsibility committee. It will be just the second time for us to conduct a company-wide election and everyone seems to be excited about it. 

We have just deliberated the candidates and on Monday, we will post the forty names who made it. During that time, the campaign officially starts. Candidates are allowed to well, campaign, post election stickers, conduct mini-caucus meetings to share their platforms. After a week, all employees will cast their votes and the new set of officers will have an oath taking on December.

Having said all those things, it only means I will be busy for at least two weeks... I will be wearing flats most of the time (the thing I will not get used to) because I will be on my feet, running around the company compound to make sure that the campaign period will turn out as planned.

Blog Makeover

I could not believe that I have already one thousand fifty blog entries and perhaps more than one thousand five hundred shoes in this blog. This blog is only an experimental one when I started this about two years ago. I like looking at beautiful shoes and buying one if I have the budget, but if I don't, I just look it at let out a sigh. This blog primarily aims to feature beautiful, out-of-this-world and unique shoes that will fit any of my reader's shoe taste.

After more than one thousand shoes, I need to have my virtual shoe collection organized and presented in a more creative and fun way. I am thinking of creating a slide show of all the shoes I have featured and owned and show them to you. Whenever I visit some of my favorite fashion and shoe blogs, I enjoy clicking and flipping through their slide shows. For the next year of this shoe blog, I wanted it to be more colorful, fun and interactive. Having said those things, I am currently looking for a slider plugin that will makeover this blog. New Shoes from Charles & Keith

I am such a sinner today.

About two weeks ago, Charles & Keith Outlet opened in the mall where I usually go shopping. I immediately went inside and checked out the goodies... I liked three... perhaps four pairs, but I did not try them on because I'd be tempted to buy them. I successfully got out of the store without a bag on my hand but at least my wallet was happy.

Earlier this day, I went back to the store together with my son. This time, I failed to resist temptation. What's worse... I bought two!
