The black red carpet of the MTV Movie Awards 2011 will not be complete without Blake Lively striking her signature pose, sexy dress and her Louboutins. But, I think that those 'Bibi' suede pumps doesn't match her look. What do you think?

Blake Lively and her 40 pairs of Louboutins

Some girls have all the luck... Blake Lively was one of those.  She reportedly bought 40 pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes last week from sexy stilettos to spiked boots.  I could not imagine taking home so much pairs of shoes in just one day.  

To give justice to the excessive shoe shopping spree, Blake told WWD that she bought pairs for friends, sisters and relatives. (Can I volunteer to be at least her friend?)  She also bought some for herself.  I wonder how many that "some' counts... Hmnn.

Celebrity Shoes: Blake Lively wears custom Christian Louboutin embellished sandals at the Met Gala

Yesterday's Met Gala was so spectacular that it's hard to make a best dressed list. Everyone who attended lived up to our expectation of their own interpretation of Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. One of the celebrities who graced the event was Blake Lively who wore a stunning Versace gown with dramatic train which took more than 600 hours to make. To complete her look, Lorraine Schwartz made a gorgeous headpiece with 100 diamonds while Christian Louboutin made a custom sandals to match.

"I wanted to design a delicate armor for her feet with crocodile and stones. A feminine warrior with a gold tassel for a religious wink," Christian Louboutin said about her inspiration for the footwear.

Every angle of the sandal complements the elements of her Versace gown. It's hard to see her shoes during the Met Gala but we were able to take a glimpse of it when she briefly posed for the pictures.

The tassel in the back adds opulence to the already intricate design. It reminds us of the high windows of churches of the medieval times and the rope belts of monks.

It says in the description this Jimmy Choo 'Nexus' is a sandal but I think it is a bootie.  Nevertheless, I think this deserves a spot in my Christmas Wishlist.  I think it is feminine with the right amount of angst and punk.  It will make any dress a rocker chic's... the likes of Kirsten Stewart, Jessica Szhor or Miley Cyrus would approve.  On the other side, this could also be a feminine's dream shoe... the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba and Blake Lively would approve.  The perfect mix of snakeskin and lace played up the two opposite fashion styles.

The moment I saw this Lanvin triple banded platform sandal, I knew it was Blake Lively who wore this first off the runway. I am just wondering why the metal support is missing on this photo in Neiman Marcus. I think the metal thing gives it more edge.
