I am glad that Lanvin has launched a shopping website. It is about time. The first shoe that caught my attention is this cap toe pump with heart print upper and cute little bow. It has 4.4-inch heel and slightly platform front. This also has a plain black version.

Shoe suggestions for Charlize Theron

One of my favorite red carpet stars is Charlize Theron. She is so elegant and sophisticated every time. Dress her with a potato sack and I bet she'd still look gorgeous. And her feet are too die for... she has every woman's dream feet. It is disappointing to see her wearing those Christian Louboutin ankle booties with a gorgeous blue Stella McCartney dress at a press event of Prometheus in Paris.

She should have worn any of these instead...

Sexy Feet: Charlize Theron

At this point, I think men will agree with me that Charlize Theron has sexy feet. Hers are so feminine to look at. It actually looks like a porcelain doll's feet.

It was even emphasized by Lanvin's frame wedge heel.

Men will go crazy over that arch.

Wow! I think Lanvin creates one of the most gorgeous and sexiest shoes. Last year it was all about chains. This year, still sticking to their hardware theme, it is about metal heels. I am not at all complaining... and it is just the side that we're looking at.

The hardness and stiffness of the frame wedge is balanced by the delicate flower design and pointed toe.

The heels that could launch a thousand ships (I hope Helen of Troy won't mind me borrowing the phrase) or a thousand jealous feet, perhaps.

I think Lanvin creates sexy shoes. When they released their chained pumps and sandals sometime last year, I was really impressed at how they made the feet of celebrities even sexier. Just a few days ago, I saw Charlize Theron wearing a nude Lanvin sandals with cutout heel the same as the above. I thought Charlize has the sexiest feet. This pump has ankle straps, 4 1/2-inch golden cutout heel that creates an illusion of a stiletto at the back but give the support of a wedge. I just have to see a celebrity wear this.

You might think that this is just another ordinary pump from Lanvin, but no, it is not. It has a horseshoe shaped heel and wooden platform that will surely leave interesting prints as you walk. And the neon pink color is something that you don't get to see often in shoes.

How's your weekend?

This is the first time in a long time that I get to enjoy my weekend. I missed watching my favorite shows like Grey's Anatomy and House M. D. on television. I miss the emergency situations, nurses in their nursing uniforms running around the ER and the drama revolving each episode. Although I work in the same field and I am wearing my nursing uniform everyday, nothing beats watching the emergency medical situation drama on the audience's point of view.

And while I still have a day to enjoy not wearing hospital scrub uniform, here is something for you to enjoy as well--Lanvin shoes galore.

The moment I saw this Lanvin triple banded platform sandal, I knew it was Blake Lively who wore this first off the runway. I am just wondering why the metal support is missing on this photo in Neiman Marcus. I think the metal thing gives it more edge.

The Best Shoes of 2010

What a year!  I think 2010 is one of the best years in fashion and one of the saddest too because of the death of one of the best designers there is-Alexander McQueen.  But, life has to move on. Fashion has to live. And it is living indeed!  I think shoes made a big wave in the fashion industry. It can either make or break any look .

Best wedge sandals for Spring and Summer

Do you like wedge sandals?  I do, too.  I think they are the best Spring/Summer shoes, they give height minus the aches and they can go with just about anything in your closet.  I have found some of the best wedge sandals that are cute and definitely chic.  Take a look after the jump.

Rachel McAdams rocks Lanvin's lucite heel wedge

It's not the sultry look of Rachel McAdams that made me give her a second look... it's those Lanvin lucite wedge pumps that did.

The ruched dress on anyone else is so unforgiving, but Rachel carried it well with her just-got-up-from-bed hair and piercing eyes... of course, those Lanvin heels just made everything perfect.  I am not a big fan of lucite heels, but this time, I was in awe (in a good way).  This awe moment happened during the NY premiere of her new film, Morning Glory.

Up close, it is as if Rachel is tiptoeing.  The ankle straps and mesh-like uppers are so stylish and au currant.

These sandals look cute.  What caught my eye are the petal shaped cutout leather.  The chunky heels are a plus factor too considering the fact that I am little by little resisting stilettos.  You can have these petal sandals by Lanvin at Barney's for $1,450.

This is just a basic black pump but is so gorgeous.  It is the way this pump "stands" that makes it so sexy.  The shape is simply amazing.  Do you find it sexy the way I do?  This is available at Zoe for $865.  I am swooned!

Lanvin python and Mongolian fur pumps

There are a lot of things going on inside my head because of these pumps by Lanvin.  Don't force me into spilling what I am thinking.  What is with the fur?  It looks like a hag, the worst case of bad hair day, et cetera.  There, I spilled some of my thoughts.  Before this could go any further, you can view the specs of these pumps at Net-A-Porter.  These are, by the way, worth $1,990.  It is the fur.  Blame it on the fur.
