The moment I laid my eyes on these Charlotte Olympia  'Birthday' flats, I already know that it should have a post in this blog. These shoes are way off to what the designer is known for but it is, to my taste, the most adorable flats to win my choosy shoe heart!

Charlotte Olympia 'Birthday Aquarius' flats.

These flats are from the designer's Cosmic Collection. I thought the collection is about the moon and stars adorning the ubiquitous exaggerated platforms of the designer but to my surprise it was actually the signs of the zodiac. I am an Aquarian and I wouldn't mind wearing my sign. 

The 1/2-inch golden heel creates a nice contrast to the suede with metallic leather piping. The almond toe is adorned with a crystal embellished zodiac sign.

Jason Wu 'Nadja' faux pearl embellished sandals

Can't get enough of Jason Wu? Me, too! So here it is...

Another Jason Wu design that is so easy to love is this faux pear embellished sandals on the ankle strap in nude/taupe and black combination with a mesh detail on the toe strap. Its heel measures 5 inches with 1 inch platform.

I seldom feature Jason Wu's shoes maybe because he makes few of them that you really have to exert extra effort finding them. Luckily, this embellished sandal found me. Whoever said blue and black is not a good color combination is still living in darkness. This particular sandal has a perfect color match.

I am seriously drooling over this shoe! Look at that jeweled ankle-wrap strap... this shoe is something that should be worn if you will be summoned by the maharajah or even at least during any red carpet event.

A shoe that is this gorgeous should be worn with dresses with asymmetrical hemlines to show off the sparkly Swarovski crystals. It has 5-inch heel, 1-inch platform and Rene Caovilla's signature glittered sole.

Seen: Christina Aguilera in Christian Louboutin 'Decorapump Strass' platform pumps

Well, well, well... Christina Aguilera managed to tone down her style for the ALMA Awards and she did it pretty well. Her Michael Kors gown with laced sleeves and side slit covered her up but still it brought out Xtina's personality. To finish her look, she wore Christian Louboutin 'Decorapump' strass platform pump and accessorized with Judith Leiber clutch and Neil Lane jewels.

You are already familiar with the shape of this pump, it is 'Dafodile', and of course it has the same 3-inch platform and 6-inch heel. What is special about 'Decorapump' is the strass (crystal) covered suede upper.

It is officially Fall. Allow me to greet you with the most sparkly shoes I have found on the internet today... this DSQUARED2 glittered pump with rhinestone embellishment.

You are maybe wondering why I chose this shoe over the many Fall shoes out there... well, this pump reminds me of the Holidays--which falls during the Fall! 

This girl maybe a little too pointy for your taste but it really really looks great, considering the festive vibe it exudes. Look at those rhinestones that diagonally crosses from the toe to the sides! 

The heel height of 4 1/4-inch is pretty normal for formal events. The half d'orsay design is sexy.

Christian Louboutin announced earlier this year that he will create his version of Cinderella's shoe. I was thinking its upper would be made of plastic and its heel to be perspex to make it look like it is made of glass, but his interpretation was actually different.

Here, his version is made of lace adorned with crystals and butterflies. Of course, the red sole is there.

Crystals galore!

This pump by Dolce and Gabbana surely knows how to make an impact. I hardly noticed that its upper is actually made of satin.

Look at the delicate bow... wouldn't it be perfect to dress up a plain dress? It has actually outshone Dorothy's ruby slippers.

I would not sit on chairs with foot rest if I am wearing this because it will just ruin the crystals on the sole. I wonder how many crystals were put onto this shoe?

Enough of the crystals... it has 140mm heels and 40mm covered platform.

Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2012 Shoe Collection

Yves Saint Laurent 'Obssession' cap toe ankle wrap sandals, $1,295. This has 4 1/4" printed heel and its upper is made of satin. This has a relatively cheaper version, without the metal cap toe and in suede upper.

Yves Saint Laurent continues to be one of the best shoe brands... no too loud color combinations to begin with. For spring, the brand played with neutrals and metals... a combination that is sophisticated in a down-to-earth way that is hard to resist.
