Nicholas Kirkwood-Keith Haring is probably the craziest collaboration following Jimmy Choo and Uggs. Take a look at their shoes and you'll see what I mean.

The Shoe Label: Harajuku Lovers

I didn't know that Gwen Stefani designs for the brand Harajuku Lovers and co-owns it until I read this article on E-Articles last night.  The brand is pretty much known for their quirky  and colorful designs (shoes and apparel) that captures the vibe of Harajuku--a district in Japan where teenagers gather during Sundays to showcase their sense of style and interact with other youths.  It was said that Harajuku is the collective place of mixed cultures of Japan.  It is no wonder why Gwen launched the line to cater to the colorful and fun world of the youth because Gwen is Harajuku personified in the US.  Remember her No Doubt days wherein she couldn't care less of what she wears?

The brand started in 2004 when Gwen launched her first solo album--Love, Angel, Music, Baby or L. A. M. B. which is now a popular clothing brand in the US.  Of course, for a brand that has established a name in the fashion industry in just a short period of time, they were not spared of rumors and court battles about design stealing.  In 2007, they filed a case against Forever 21 for allegedly copying their designs without their permission.

L. A. M. B. 'Jenner' bootie and 'Juva' court shoe with geometric design

Gotta love this bootie!  This definitely exudes Gwen Stefani'sstyle.  The black and white bootie has just gotten better by adding geometric design.  For a shoe that looks good as this, a plain ensemble would be enough.  This also has a pump version... love it too!  You can get them at Heels.

Viktor and Rolf striped sandals

I haven't seen anything quite like it--zebra prints are an exception, and it bothers me that it resembles something else.  No! Not Paris Hilton's striped wedges... those are Christian Louboutin's, by the way.  I am thinking more of Halloween... skeletons!  Look.

I love geometric designs, I actually featured Alexander McQueen's pumps and I adore them.  If these sandals by Viktor and Rolf were in different color, I might want to have it... but since it is not, it will just fall at the back of the closet with other Halloween costumes.  You can view the full specs of these sandals here, though.

Georgina Goodman 'Nadine' platform sandals

After seeing a lot of horrors lately, this shoe made me calm.  The loop design is very interesting, it is a  good alternative to flowers and bows.  I actually haven't seen anything like it and having said that, I would love to have a pair.  This would be the talk of my posse for a long time. 

Alexander McQueen geometric leather pumps

This is one of the quirkiest and boldest wearable shoes I've seen so far.  The geometric design is so now yet it resonates the happy hay days of the past 4 decades.  This shoe should be worn by Austin Powers' lady love.  I can actually see myself wearing this with a little black dress and black tights.  I wish I could own this and I also wish you could... if you want and you can, click here.
