Rodarte is an all-American and relatively new fashion label having started only in 2005 with the Mulleavy sisters--Kate and Laura, as founders and 10 pieces to start a fashion show. Despite being new in the fashion industry, Rodarte has won several awards already like the two CFDA awards in 2008 and 2009 and since then, the fashion label became one of the most sough-after brands of Hollywood celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Kirsten Dunst and Katy Perry, to name a few.
