Those are spikes. I have featured a tamer version of the spiked shoe in contrast with Rihanna's and Victoria's fierce version and this shoe by Sam Edelman is just the shoe in the middle of the two. It is edgy and dangerous... I don't like the idea, this shoe could cause severe damage when used the wrong way. For those of you who like some danger, you can grab your pair at Cusp for only $200.
