For Gucci's Spring/Summer Collection, they try to capture the textures of the season like mimicking the bamboo and incorporate it to the heel of this sandal. I am not sure about the material used for the heel, it is as clear as glass so I guess acrylic or the same type was used. You can have a pair from the official Gucci website for $990.
