I get overly excited whenever I see shoes that are stylish to wear from the boardroom to a cocktail party. I get double excited whenever I learn that the shoe is from a brand that is known to have quirky and sometimes over-the-top designs, like this Nicholas Kirkwood pump in classic pointy toe shape but in mix upper materials--striped elaphe, suede and grosgrain--minus the ubiquitous Kirkwood platform.
