Jerome C. Rousseau 'Kier' iridescent sandals

It's been quite a while since my last post about Jerome Rousseau's shoe. I just find his designs too over the top, often unwearable and accident prone. But, just look at 'Kier' it is exactly the opposite of my descriptions of his creations. This iridescent sandal has just the right amount of Rousseau flare, it is absolutely wearable and definitely safer.

I just like the loops to replace the usual bows as design. Its stiletto heel measures 130mm with 25mm platform. Its upper is made of iridescent glitter and metallic threads... just perfect for any evening affair. This sells for $795 at Shopbop. Click here to buy your own pair.

Casadei platform mary jane pump

Casadei platform mary jane pump, $752 at Farfetch.

Ah... color me red!

It is really not necessary to add a lot of details for a shoe to look sexy and extra special... sometimes you just color it red and there you go. This lady is made of suede with hidden platform and 150mm heel. This could be Dorothy's new ruby red slipper.

You can have your very own pair by clicking here.

B Brian Atwood 'Lesina' evening sandal

B Brian Atwood 'Lesina' evening sandal, $325.
I had a nasty fall earlier this day and my head still aches from hitting my head heard on the floor. I don't know  how this B by Brian Atwood 'Lesina' sandal is related to that but I think the diagonally placed straps are just too sexy not to notice.

Its heel measures 4 1/2 inches and you think this will be the perfect evening sandal for your next big event, click here to purchase at Jildor.

What heels?

How crazy are these heels? I saw this photo in Cosmopolitan magazine's April issue with Kim Chiu on the cover. She's wearing these heelless heels in one of the photos. I don't know how many more of this kind I will see in the next few days. I still can't imagine how anyone could walk in those. It's great in photo shoots but not so on the streets.

Do you wear heels when you drive?

Lower East Side 'Holton' peep toe pumps at payless.com

I did not have any formal driving lessons. I just asked a co-employee to teach me since my work requires me to be out of the office most of the time. When he was teaching me how, he asked me "You are wearing high heels. Are you okay to drive in that?" I said yes since I don't want to bring another shoe to use for driving.

Since then, I have been driving in heels. I only drive automatic transmission engines so it is easy for me to drive in heels.

How high can you go?

Giuseppe Zanotti heelless wedge, $895.
I have tried wearing 1 1/2 inch platform with 5-inch heel and as far as I am concerned, that's my limit. I don't want to stumble and break my crown.

Giuseppe Zanotti has been challenging us to try his heelless heels and that's not enough, he wants us to try the 8-inch wedge. Although it is not the highest heel in Guinness Book of World Records, I can say that Zanotti has made it even deadlier to walk in a relatively low but no-heel shoe.

If your motto is "anything in the name of fashion", you can take a risk by buying a pair here. Don't tell me I didn't warn you.

Alexander McQueen runway platform no-heel sandal

Alexander McQueen runway platform no-heel sandal, $6,395.
Just one of those crazy non-heeled shoes in the market. It never cease to make me wonder how you will be able to walk in those. I am also amazed at how this shoe costs despite the missing heel... does the cost cover an insurance policy?

If you want to try this, you can buy it here. I hope the box contains instructional videos and first aid kit.

Christian Louboutin 'Lady Peep' 150mm in navy python

I am such a sucker for blue things. I own two blue shoes--suede peep toe and suede flats--and I don't mind owning a third pair especially if that pair would be this Christian Louboutin 'Lady Peep' in navy python. I love the contrast of blue upper and red heel.

It has 150mm heel and 50mm platform. The arch is simply stunning! I don't mind if this shoe is not made for dancing... I don't dance, anyway.

Christian once said that a shoe has so much more to offer than just to walk. Lady Peep promises that you'll be the most confident girl in the room wherever you wear her.

This sells for $1,395 at Christian Louboutin's US website.

Genius or Crazy: Wedge sandals with secret compartment

Photo from stylefrizz.com
These Double Agent wedges seem to answer every party girls's concern... safekeeping of cellphone, credit card, some cash, and car keys while on the dance floor. It has a "door" on the heel that opens for you to keep your valuables inside the wedge. If you don't mind hearing tip tapping while you walk, this might be the shoe for you.

Isn't a clutch enough? Genius or plain crazy idea?
