Christian Louboutin 'Daf Booty' 160mm yeti boots

I never thought a day would come that I will say that Christian Louboutin makes ugly shoes, until now.

I am really disappointed at how this 'Daf Booty' was designed. It looks like Oscar the Grouch of Sesame Street. And this sells for $1,295 at Christian Louboutin's US website.

Manolo Blahnik 'Ruggio' high heel sandal and 'Bohu' suede sandal

Sometimes when a shoe designer who is known for making classic and elegant styles try to produce quirky and unconventional ones, the tendency is mixed reactions from their loyal customers... case in point, Jimmy Choo who collaborated with Ugg Australia. This time, without collaboration, Manolo Blahnik went for classic to modern with these bright pink sandals.

'Ruggio' has 115mm heel with suede upper and black leather trim. It is currently on sale at Shop Savannahs for $458 previously $915.

Manolo Blahnik's shift is something that is unexpected and yet it appeals to my taste. There is nothing wrong with trying different waters from time to time, right? And besides, these sandals are completely wearable unlike other designs.

'Bohu' has 105mm heel with suede upper and black leather human cutouts. It is also on sale at Shop Savannahs for $513 previously $1,025.

Alexander McQueen pumps with ombre translucent heel

Isn't it pretty?

I know the trend in shoes went from invisible looking heels to heelless and between the two, I prefer to have heels that look invisible than not having heels at all. That is the reason why I like this Alexander McQueen pump with ombre translucent heel of 5 inches with 1 1/2 inch platform. Its open toe upper is made of suede with a cute hammered bow. I think this would be perfect to wear this Holiday season.

This sells for $1,195 at Zappos.

Flats!

To date, I have two flats. The first one is Brash blue suede flats with flower appliques and the second one is this Parisian brown loafer that I frequently wear--in the office and doing errands--because they are super comfy.

In this particular photo, I wore it with skinny jeans, leopard print top and black cardigan. My friends and I went for a walk in Tagaytay City--a famous tourist destination when it gets hot elsewhere.
